<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power saving effect and the work efficiency by recognizing the existence of a user of an information processor while using an infrared communication port, etc., and switching a power saving mode and a power non-saving mode. SOLUTION: The information processor 1a is provided with a user detecting means 2a for detecting that a user 5 of the information processor is positioned within a prescribed range, and a power saving mode/power non-saving mode switching control part 4 for performing the switching of power saving mode as a standby state for immediately starting processing while preserving the user stopping state of information processor 1a through a little power and power non-saving mode as a usual using state. When the user detecting means 2a detects that the user 5 is positioned within a prescribed range, the power non-saving mode is set by the power saving mode/power non-saving mode switching control part 4 but when it can not be detected that the user 5 is positioned within the prescribed range, the power saving mode is set.</p> |
