<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental tip not causing any damage to teeth and artificial parts in a mouth during medical treatments and having a most appropriate natural frequency that resonates to an excited frequency emitted from an ultrasonic generator that a dentist operates. SOLUTION: Plastics and filler materials are mixed for forming a dental composite. In preparing a monolithic dental chip for an ultrasonic scaler that is provided with a base part to be connected to an electric source and a top part to work at a tooth or at a body part to be treated medically, two kinds of composites of different compositions are selected, and these two composites are mixed according to a specified weight ratio before use. The above-mentioned method is the manufacturing method to obtain a dental tip aimed to possess a specific natural frequency. Therefore, a composite is formed experimentally with changing mixing ratios of two kinds of composites, and the natural frequency of the formed composite is measured in terms of the composition. Thus, the relationship between the natural frequency and the composition of a formed composite is experimentally understood, and a required mixing ratio of two kinds of composites in forming a dental tip is determined based on the obtained relationship.</p> |
