WASTE PAPER DEINKING TREATMENT AGENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a waste paper deinking treatment agent high in pulp yield and deinking effect, comprising a water-soluble immobilized enzyme reversibly soluble in water. SOLUTION: Methacrylic acid is polymerized with acrolein to give a water-soluble polymer to be reversibly changed from a water-soluble state to a water- insoluble state with change of pH. The polymer is used as a water-soluble immobilizing carrier to give an immobilized cellulase. A waste paper pulp obtained by macerating waste paper of newspaper is mixed with the immobilized cellulase, deinked and made into paper to give a reclaimed paper high in deinking effect.
