<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reset a headlight optical axis, inclined by the inclination of a body, easily and appropriately by one-touch switch operation and eliminate the misadjustment of the optical axis in the road surface being inclined in large degree to a horizontal plane so as to ensure safety. SOLUTION: An automobile headlight optical axis control device is provided with a gravity dependent angle detector 11 outputting a signal corresponding to the angle of a headlight optical axis 13 to a horizontal plane and fitted in such a way that an angleθformed by its center axis and a vertical axis becomes almost 0 deg. when the optical axis 13 is at an initial set angle (normally almost 0 deg.) to the horizontal plane, a lamp actuator 15 that can control the optical axis by tilting it vertically, and a control circuit 17 started to operate by one-touch switch operation so as to drive the headlight actuator 15 to make the value coincident in the case of the value of the signal from the angle detector 11 not coinciding with the value at the time of the angleθbeing almost 0 deg. but being in a range of -3 deg. to +3 deg. with the initial set angle as a reference.</p> |
