PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge for preventing the scraping or damaging of a case by using a guide wall side surface for forming a recessed groove as a gently-sloping curved chamfered part along a shutter sliding direction so as to smoothly operating the shutter even when an external force or an impact is applied to the shutter. SOLUTION: A recessed groove 11 in which the sliding guide piece 10 of a shutter 4 for opening/closing the opening part 3 of a disk cartridge is provided in a lower case 1. The recessed groove 11 is composed of a guide wall 11 and a guide wall end surface 12 and the guide wall end surface 12 is chamfered along the sliding direction of the shutter 4 so as to be curved with a gentle-slope at an angleθless than 45 degrees. Thus, even when an external force or an impact is applied to the shutter 4, the sliding guide piece 10 is placed over the recessed groove 11 end of the lower case 1 so as to prevent interference with an operating/closing operation and the damaging or the generation of chip powders of the case 1 and thus a cartridge free from troubles such as drop out or the like during recording/reproducing is provided.
