The present invention refers to a device suitable to add additional air to an air and fuel carburating mixture in an internal combustion engine of the type that defines an intermediate piece to be placed between an internal combustion engine carburator outlet and intake manifold inlet, said device incorporating fastening means to said manifold, which comprises at least a centrally disposed through aperture, said piece including an internal passageway which defines an additional air intaking nozzle inwardly the aperture interior, and brings the external air into contact with said incoming nozzle, the aperture comprising a stepped transversal section extending from a perimetric edge, which is in conformity with one of the outer surfaces of said intermediate piece having a curved expansion, along a first straight portion which is intermitent due to an abrupt section widening, and a second straight portion which extends up to the opposite surface of said intermediate piece, said widening defining an annular lug in correspondence with the additional air incoming nozzle arrangement.
