FIELD: water supply equipment. SUBSTANCE: adjusting valve has guiding helical stem 4. Construction of stem prevents occurrence of hydraulic shocks and noise in installation. Helical stem is screwed through helical line 8 into holder 10 of piston 16 and fixed in it by pin 13. Piston 16 is mounted on top part 12 of holder 10 and provided with edge rim. Two teeth 18 on edge rim are inserted into grooves 22 on legs 21 of holder 19 of rubber seal 23. Two screw teeth 6', 10' are disposed on lower main surface of holder 10 and on rim 6 of stem 4 in diametrically opposed relation. Screw teeth are offset one relative to another by 90 deg. Holder 10 is provided with at least two teeth 14 engageable with related teeth 15 on body 1 of valve. Such construction allows sliding friction of valve in open and closed positions to be provided. As a result, valve is prevented from overtightening. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. |
