Each end-bracket (51) has a circular base (55) carrying a bearing housing (53) on generally conical supports (54). The housing fits closely into a cylindrical sleeve (13) integrally moulded in the anti-vibration mounting (11), relative rotation being prevented. The moulding is of thermoplastic or elastomeric material, suitably resilient. A single web connects the sleeve with a semi-cylindrical main body (14) terminating in side blocks (140,141) with transverse vertical slots (142). These receive the up-turned edges of a sheet metal cradle (2), fixed to the machine chassis, which are cut away clear below the sleeve. Several slots (143) are provided, allowing for different motor lengths. Optionally, sleeve and main body are separate mouldings with a single interconnecting pin; intervening pads restrict relative movement.
