The suspension pylon system (P), intended to support a load beneath an aircraft without transmission of vibration to the load, comprises two jacks - a shock absorbing jack (21) and an auxiliary jack providing control of locking and unlocking of the system using interlock or release switch bank (30). These are combined with a right-angled lever (23) coupled to the first jack by a spring (21) and to a base plate (S) for the load (C). A locking finger (24) co-operates with a notch (25) in the base plate to be able to hold the base plate and load in the locked position. In the un-locked mode, the auxiliary jack (22) and the finger (24), mounted in a hydraulic circuit (Ch), are actuated by a hydraulic pump (28) coupled to an expansion chamber (29) through a hydraulic switch (30), which serves as the control in the interlock and release positions.
