A modular porch construction unit comprising a roof, several wall panels which defines each a modular side, and possibly at least one panel which has an entrance, to produce an open polyhedral porch construction unit. Each wall panel has a pair of opposite, peripheral, vertical, open polygonally-shaped beams, and there across, a peripheral, bottom and an opposite, peripheral top C-shaped beams, defining a four-side frame. A squeezing member is slidably mounted in frictional engagement, in at least two of the opposite, peripheral beams, in their respective opening, and a flexible waterproof sheet is held between one of said squeezing members and the corresponding peripheral beam. The Cshaped beams have a square C-shaped cross-section consisting of two L-shaped legs slightly displaceable away from each other, joint via a bridging portion.
