FIELD: dividing of elongate rolled material into randomly sized parts for further utilization in steel smelting. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing stress concentrators along the whole length of profile with discrete set in accordance with grinding value L(p); directing elongated profile between rollers to perform bending deformation; loading each separated part during displacement of elongated profile in accordance with beam pattern, with beam being fixed at its one end and lying on support; applying braking force at point spaced from support by distance of L(p). When each subsequent section with notch is moved on supporting roller, it is loaded with bending moment causing break of metal across section till part is separated. When rail profile is to be ground, notches are made in side surface of rail flange. Deformation is conducted during movement of rail in position, when rail is standing on its flange, by bending it in horizontal plane. EFFECT: increased efficiency in preparing metal component of burden and simplified method. 2 cl, 3 dwg |
