PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nutritive product for a diabetic by blending a protein component with a fatty component, a carbohydrate component containing a quickly absorbable fraction, a moderately absorbable fraction and a slowly absorbable fraction and having controlled absorbability and a fiber. SOLUTION: A protein component in an amount to give 1-50% of the total calorie value is mixed with a fatty component in an amount to give 0-45% of the total calorie value, a carbohydrate component in an amount to give 5-85% of the total calorie value, comprising a quickly absorbable sucrose- containing fraction composed of glucose, one or more quickly absorbable disaccharides containing a glucose unit or their mixture, a moderately absorbable fraction composed of one or more moderately absorbable monosaccharides, disaccharides, glucose-containing polysaccharides or their mixture and a slowly absorbable fraction composed of one or more slowly absorbable glucose- containing polysaccharides and a fiber to give the objective nutrient composition for controlling a diet meal. |
