PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an equipment and to reduce control time by cutting recording paper without stopping a printing operation and performing an operation regardless of an original length to be printed. SOLUTION: The recording paper 1 is made to flow through first to third paper send-out means 2, 4 and 6 to a printer part 7 and ejected through an ejection means 8. A cutter part 3 is provided between the first and second paper send-out means 2 and 4 and a cutter passage 11 is formed. Also, the deflection guard 5 and the deflection block 9 of the recording paper 1 are arranged between the second and third paper send-out means 4 and 6 and a deflection route is formed. Then, a CPU generates deflection between a cutter 3 and the printer part 7 by using the first to third paper send-out means 2, 4 and 6 before starting the printing operation, stops paper sending to the cutter 3 at the time of detecting that a recording paper length passed through the cutter 3 reaches a printing line and cuts the recording paper 1 by the cutter 3 in time less than the time required for the printing of the recording paper length for the deflection part. |
