The disclosed channel system has a looped flow pipe system which comprises main collecting channels (2) and loop channels (3), as well as combined installations (1) for potential energy increase and/or waste water purification. The combined installation has a biological reactor chamber (12) with a separator (11) for dragged materials and an inner chamber (13) for potential energy increase. An opening with a dragged materials retaining device (14) is arranged between the reactor chamber (12) and the inner chamber (13).
