FIELD: chemical technology, thermoplastics. SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing thermoplastic solution with hot water (at temperature not below of azeotropic boiling point of solvent with water) in mixer. Before mixing water is stirred up to the rate 3-10 m/s. Thermoplastic solution is fed at the rate 0.5-2.5 m/s up to formation of thermoplastic particle suspension in water. Suspension is transferred to additional drying from solvent in apparatus of mixing type at the same temperature (boiling point of azeotropic mixture of solvent and water, not below).
