An air cleaner is disclosed, which comprises an air intake tub (1), a filter (2), a cap (3) coupled to the upper part of the air intake tub (1) and a rubber packing (4) inserted into a flange (1c) in the lower part of the air intake tub (1), wherein an internal tube (1b) and an external tub (1a) of the air intake tub (1) are formed at a constant distance from the inner side of the flange (1c) in the lower part of the air intake tub (1), plural circular vents (1e) are punched in the cicumferential walls of the internal and external tubs (1b, 1a), the upper part of the inernal tub (1b) is closed and the lower part is open so that the air entering the vents (1e) passes to an engine through an opening, and the cap (3) is coupled to the upper part of the external tub (1a) so that under the condition that the air intake tub (1) into which the packing (4) is inserted is coupled to an air cleaner room of an automobile, the filter (2) which is inserted between the internal and external tubs (1b, 1a) is exchanged by opening the cap (3).
