Environmentally friendly, anti-soiling aqueous emulsion, for windows

An aqueous emulsion contains, all by weight, based on the total emulsion: (a) 55-70 % water; (b) 25-40% polydialkylsiloxane; (c) optionally 0.1-2 % of a weak acid, preferably citric, acetic or formic acid; (d) 0.005-0.015 % of a rare earth metal oxide; and (e) optionally 1.4-3.4 % of an emulsion stabiliser. Also claimed is the use of the emulsion for reducing soiling of glass or decorative surfaces.
