The target comprises a base 10 having an upward extending pillar 11, the pillar having a mouth 12 through which the base can be filled. The target proper 20 includes a bore 21 for engaging with the pillar 11. The bore and the pillar have co-operating notches and projection whereby the height of the target can be adjusted.
