Compounds of formula (I) are new. R, R' = alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl, or alkyl ether (optionally substituted with OH and/or alkoxy); Ar = a group of formula (a) or (b); R2 = OH, alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl, or (all optionally substituted by OH and/or alkoxy) alkyl-, alkenyl- or alkynyl-ether or polyalkyl ether; R3 = H or as for R2; the OH groups are in alpha -position to the bond to the triazine ring; the total number of C and O atoms in R and R' is 8-42 (8-18), and the number of O atoms is not more than half of the number of C atoms.
