FIELD: methods and plants for separation of media at nonuniform fields of densities and different molecular mass of components; chemical industry, heat-power and atomic power engineering. SUBSTANCE: method consists in swirling flow 1, separation of this flow and discharging media through central passage 2 and peripheral passage 3. Vortex plant for realization of this method contains at least one vortex device 4 with flow swirler 1 mounted in vortex tube 6 and above-mentioned passages 2 and 3. Central flow of separated medium is discharged through one passage 2 located inside outlet section 8 of vortex tube 6 consisting of at least two separate sections 9 and 10. Joint 11 of pipe 6 is located in way of motion of flow after swirler 1 mounted on inlet section 5 of vortex tube 6; on the outside of vortex tube 6 there is circular chamber 12 embracing joint 11 of vortex tube. Connection of chamber 12 with vortex tube 6 provides for axial displacement of at least one part of vortex tube 6 provides for axial displacement of at least one part of vortex tube 6 forming circular passage for escape of boundary peripheral flow of separated medium into chamber 12. Efficiency of separation is achieved through opening shut-off devices 21 and 22 fitted in branches 23 and 24. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of separation; low power requirements. 47 dwg |
