APPARATUS FOR SAMPLING DUST IN A DUCT

An apparatus for sampling dust in a duct is to get samples for the purpose of knowing, in advance of cleaning the inside of such a narrow duct as can not be accessed internally by a person, the kinds of accumulations in the duct and the state of accumulation and sticking or the like. The apparatus comprises a traveling truck (15) enabled to travel forwardly and backwardly in a duct, a TV camera (5) mounted on the traveling truck (15) in order to observe the inside of the duct, a bucket means (60) attached to the forehead of the traveling truck (15) in order to sample accumulations in the duct and a remote control portion (4) for remotely control the traveling truck (15), the TV camera (5) and the bucket means (4).
