Car-window cover forming sun guard

The cover is particularly for the windscreen or rear window of a parked car, being situated on the inside and of heat-reflecting material. The casing is inflated so as to bear against the glass surface over virtually all of it and form a self-supporting body (1) in two or more sections assembled together. It is vented to allow folding. It can be of thin soft plastic sheet, preferably reinforced with synthetic fibre, and with plastic strips on the inside forming distance-pieces. An inflation nozzle and a venting port, both with non-return flap valves, can be incorporated, together with a safety valve if desired.
