Weakly alkaline dish washing

Weakly alkaline dishwashing agents for machine use, based on sodium citrate, alkali bicarbonate, bleaching agent, bleach activator and optionally enzymes, having a pH of 8-10 (9-9.5) in 1 % aqueous solution, wherein part of the trisodium citrate present is replaced by a water-soluble natural substance (I) chosen from mono- and/or disaccharides, sugar acids and protein hydrolysates. Also claimed is a builder combination for washing and cleaning agents comprising 95-60 parts wt. trisodium citrate and 5-40 parts wt. of the (I). Preferably 5-40 wt. % of the trisodium citrate is replaced by an equal weight of (I). A preferable sugar acid component (I) is gluconic acid and the protein hydrolysate (I) is preferably hydrolytically degraded collagen, especially gelatine. The composition may contain further builder substances such as silicates and/or phosphates, especially disilicates or pentasodiumtriphosphate. Preferred dishwashing agent formulation comprise 20-60 (30-50) wt. % trisodium citrate in the form of anhydrous trisodium citrate or trisodium citrate dihydrate; 5-50 (25-40) wt. % alkali bicarbonate, especially NaHCO3; 2-20 (5-15) (5-10) wt. % bleaching agent, especially Na perborate monohydrate, Na perborate tetrahydrate or Na percarbonate; 1-8 (2-6) wt. % bleach activator, especially tetraacetylethylenediamine or 1,5- diacetyl-2,2-dioxo-hexahydro-1,3,5-triazine.
