Flush-mounting system for use with electrical installations

An electrical item of equipment, such as a socket 16 , is installed in a flush mounted way into a wall recess. Set into the cavity is an open box shaped lining 13 that is formed with internal brackets 20 that support screws 24 for which the heads project above the surface. A carrier plate 18, with formed internal supports on which to fix the socket, is used to enclose the cavity and this has formed slots that locate around the screws.
