The invention is directed to Dead Sea mud for restoration of hair growth and ret ardation of hair loss for those suffering from alopecia and a hair therapy method of topically applying to the scalp of a human or other mammal scalp an effective amount of the Dead Sea mud. Dramatic results in overall hair therapy have been obtained by those individuals that have practiced the present method for a relatively short period of time.
