Immunological determination of analytes

Immunological determination of an analyte in a sample uses: (i) magnetic particles (coated with the analyte to be determined or an analyte-specific binding partner) and analyte specific binding partners; (ii) directly determinable, non-magnetic particles (coated with the analyte to be determined), or (iii) an indirectly determinable non-magnetic substance. The reaction mixture is incubated. The magnetic particles are separated from the reaction mixture using a magnetic test strip and the analyte concentration is directly determined.
