Indexing switch for load switching transformers

The electrical transformer system has a stage switching system that has a shaft that is incremented and has couplings to moving contacts slip ring contacts (5,6) that selectively engage fixed contacts that corresponds to take off points on the transformer (1,2). Two connection arrangements are provided with a change over switching stage (9) being coupled to a separate shaft of the actuator system. This provides a fine resolution switching action.
