A container, in particular a box of corrugated board, for accommodating packs of commercial articles, comprises rigid container walls (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) with a closure part (7, 8, 9, 10) kept closed by an adhesive tape (12) attached to the container (1). At least one container wall (2) is provided with a cut-out hole or a removable tab (15, 16) defined by cut lines and/or weakened lines (17, 18) in the wall (2), which hole or tab (15) is arranged under an edge portion (13) of the adhesive tape.
