<p>A homogenised thermoplastic polyvinyl alcohol composition comprising 5-25 wt % of a plasticiser and characterised in that (a) the composition contains no unmelted materials with a size greater than 100 microns, and 90 % of the unmelted materials are smaller than 50 microns; and (b) the level of decomposition of the macromolecular polyvinyl alcohol chains in the composition is reduced so that the composition is a translucent white or pale yellow composition.</p> |
