The device includes a coiling-up unit (30) which can be brought into engagement with a carrier unit (18). The carrier unit is formed by a strip, which is applied on the wall of a bag (10), carrying a number of printed scale division markings. The strip is arranged near to the edge (10b) of the bag which lies remote from a liquid introduction unit (11,12,13,14). The scale (17) ascends emanating from the edge (10a) of the bag contg. the liquid introduction unit. The coiling-up unit includes a coiling core and a sleeve. The coiling core is cylindrically shaped and has a dia. which is smaller than the dia. of the sleeve.
