Cable fixing system e.g. for use in space between motor vehicle walls

An electrical cable 13 is located in the space between two walls 2,13and has a plug 15 at the end that is positioned to be accessible through an aperture 16. The cable is supported on a flexible clip unit 4 . This has a lower section 5 fixed to one panel by studs 12,10 and has three other sections 6,7 with formed foil hinges 8,9. The cable is looped around the hinged sections.
