Fuel container for pressurised gases

The fuel container (1) is composed of a single tube (2), which is wound or moulded into a shape appropriate to the available space in the vehicle in which it is to be fitted. One end (3) of the tube has a device (4) by which this end can be opened and closed. The other end (5) of the tube is closed. The tube may be wound initially in one plane to form one layer (7), on which the next layer is then wound. It may be wound with repeated changes of winding direction, forming crossing layers one on top of the other.
