The screw driver (3) has a tool attachment (5) consisting of a base sleeve (10) over which coaxially grips an outer sleeve (18). The base sleeve is joined to the spindle (4) of the screw driver. The walls of the base and outer sleeves have diametrically opposite holes (16,20) on the same axis of symmetry. The base sleeve contains an axially movable ejector piece (17) through which passes a transverse pin (21) whose free ends lead into the holes through the base and outer sleeves. A holding down clamp is for the relative displacement of the outer sleeve. The outer sleeve on its side facing the screw-driver has a flange, in the form of a disc (19) joined to the outer sleeve, facing a ring (22) on the side of the transverse pin. A compression spring (23) is positioned between the ring and the flange.
