Metal sealing gasket for IC-engine cylinder head

The gasket has at least one ring with a seal section, which has inner and outer ring sections (6) positioned in parallel. There is a press ring section (5) bonded to these which is tensioned by a turning moment due to the clamping action of the cylinder head to come into surface contact with both opposed sealing surfaces (11,12,13). One of the rings can be mounted in a carrier panel (1) of the gasket. The ring can be attached to the panel by bridge pieces (8).
