Train influencing device for point-wise transfer of data related to direction of travel from track to passing vehicles

The device uses two mutually decoupled trackside antennas (S1,S2) and at least one vehicle antenna (E1,E2) which is coupled with them as it passes. Both trackside antennas are arranged close together in the direction of travel and in a common housing (G). They are inclined to the vertical at a defined angle and radiated in or against the controlled direction of travel. Each trackside antenna transmits data with an identifier associating the data with the direction of travel. Each two vehicle antennas are aligned with one or other trackside antenna and separated in the direction of travel so that they simultaneously couple with both trackside antennas. The simultaneous reception by both vehicle antennas of data with different identifiers at a level above a defined threshold enables direction dependent selection of the transferred data using knowledge of the association of the identifiers with the trackside antennas and the reception of the identifiers via one or other trackside antennas.
