<p>A narrow rectangular front frame, optionally side-hinged, receives a flush-fitting, peripherally sealed transparent panel (30), with regularly(p) perforated support straps (41,42) attached, e.g. by adhesive, around the interior edges. Intermediate transverse straps (50) are provided. Metal support plates (70), modularly dimensioned, pressed against the panel, are screwed or clipped to the strap frame; these have previously cut apertures for control knobs, buttons, etc., passing through the panel, or allowing indicating lamps, instruments, displays, etc. to be visible through it. For penetrating items, the plate cut-outs serve as templates (31) for panel cutting. Function labels, where required, are visible through the panels. Frame straps also facilitate component wiring.</p> |
