Partially hydrogenated aminotelechelic oligomers of 1,3-dienes and processes for preparing the same

Oligomers of (1,3-diene) partially hydrogenated aminochelates are of formula (P)(ACH2NH2)x (I), in which X = 1.8-2; P is part of 1,3-diene oligomer containing at least 20 mol% hydrogenated double linkages of 1,2 type as in formula -CH2-C(R<1>)CH=CH2 (II); and at least 10 mol% hydrogenated double linkages of 1,4 type as in formula -CH2-CR<1>=CH-CH2- (III) where R<1> = H, 1-6C aliphatic; A = divalent group chosen from (IV) or (V) in which R<2> = 1-6C aliphatic or 3-7C cycloaliphatic; and n = 3-9. Oligomer has average molecular mass 500-5000. Also claimed is a method for the preparation of oligomers.
