DISPLAY DEVICE AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a picture on a screen which can be observed only by a specific person. SOLUTION: In the case of projecting images from liquid crystal projectors 101, 102 to a screen 107, clockwise circular polarization and counterclockwise circular polarization are used for the polarization of the images. Necessary information is included in the image from the projector 101 and the picture from the projector 102 is displayed by white. In a normal observing method, a normal white display is projected on the screen 107. When the screen 107 is observed through an optical filter capable of transmitting the clockwise circularly polarized light, the image from the projector 101 can be selectively observed.
