PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make disposable loading units with various sizes usable by providing removably a disposable loading unit provided with a driving means bringing continuous discharging of staples from a cartridge on the apex part of a control rod in a long body. SOLUTION: This stapling apparatus 10 for surgical operation is provided with a handle assembly 12 and a long body 14 and disposable loading units 30, 45 and 60 are respectively removably fitted therein and the unit has a carrier 32, staple cartridge 34 and an anvil 36. The handle assembly 12 has a fixed handle 24 hung down from a barrel part 22 and a driving handle 26 being pivoted thereby and a control rod 64 inserted in the long body 14 is moved back and forth by cooperative work of a driving shaft on the top of which a tooth-shaped rack is formed and a ratchet nail provided on the driving handle 26 to drive the loading unit and to drive the staples in. |
