PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display document pattern information corresponding to document type definition such as DTD(Document Type Declaration) and to set a system for generating a structured document such as SGML(Standard Generalized Mark up Language) to correspond to the various documents when document main body information corresponding to the document pattern information is inputted by means of a user. SOLUTION: When document type definition is inputted to a structure input means 7, a pattern generation means 8 analyzes a document type definition and controls a generation control means 9. Thus, the pattern generation means 8 generates document pattern information. Since a conversion control means 10 completes the document type definition and controls a document conversion means 6, the document conversion means 6 generates the structured document when the user inputs document main body information to document pattern information. Thus, it is not required for a technical expert to analyze document type definition and to generate document pattern information and the document conversion means 6 with a manual operation. Then, document pattern information and the document conversion means 6 are changed in accordance with document type definition. |
