PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract the nutrient of cereal in the best state and facilitate the absorption of the nutrient into the body by drying a sprouted cereal at a low temperature and applying far infrared rays to the cereal to effect the drying from the inner part. SOLUTION: Sprouted cereal such as sprouted unpolished rice, sprouted husked wheat, sprouted husked barley, sprouted soybean or sprouted corn is dried at a low temperature and thoroughly irradiated with far infrared rays by a far infrared irradiator 21 to effect the drying of the inner part and the uniform processing of the sprouted cereal. The sprouted cereal is preferably inverted during the far infrared irradiation. |
