PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently and accurately match the toner discharging aperture of a toner carrying pipe member with the toner receiving aperture of a toner recovering container by using a comparatively simple and inexpensive positioning member in an image producing unit. SOLUTION: The positioning member 70 for mutually and accurately positioning the toner carrying pipe member 46 and the toner recovering container is disposed. A shutter member 108 for the toner discharging aperture formed on the side surface of the toner carrying pipe member 46 moves along the member 46, and also moves in a direction separating from and coming close to the side surface of the member 46. The member 48 is made of synthetic rubber.
