PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a motor-driven outboard motor to protect a control system of the motor-driven outboard motor and excellent in driving performance. SOLUTION: A control device of a motor-driven outboard motor furnished with a motor-driven unit to drive a propeller and a control unit to control this motor-driven unit is furnished with an electric motor current detection means 101 to detect more than a specified value of an electric current of an electric motor of the motor-driven outboard motor, an electric motor stopping means 102 to stop the electric motor at the time when the electric current of the electric motor comes to be in an excess current state where the electric motor electric current is more than the specified value and an electric motor control means 105 to stop by driving the electric motor for a specified period of time at the time of opening an accelerator again by releasing stopping of the electric motor in a neutral state of the accelerator from an excess electric current state. |
