PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary switch capable of performing contact and separation by an up- and down-motion the same as a push switch, making the application of grease to between contacts unnecessary, and always accurately turning on and off a moving contact and a fixed contact by moving up and down an intermediate cam in the constant position against the rotation of a rotor. SOLUTION: Each contact spring piece 4a whose tip is formed as a moving contact 4, each roller-shaped intermediate cam 5, and a disc-shaped rotor 6 having a plurality of circular arc-shaped projections 8 on the lower surface are arranged in order in the upper part of each fixed contact 3 of a base 1, and by the rotating operation of the rotor 6, the intermediate cam 5 runs on the projections 8 on the lower surface of the rotor 6 in order, then at the same time vertically falls to bend the contact spring piece 4a downward, the moving contact 4 comes in contact with the fixed contact 3 for turning on, and the intermediate cam 5 runs down from the projections 8, then at the same time, vertically rises, the contact spring piece 4a is restored and raised, and the moving contact 4 separates from the fixed contact 3 for turning off. |
