BURNING TOOL AND PRODUCTION OF CERAMIC SUBSTRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burning tool for producing a ceramic substrate having a reduce warpage and swell generated during manufacturing and a method for producing the ceramic substrate. SOLUTION: This burning tool 1 has a three layered structure prepared by placing porous ceramic molded bodies 3 on both upper and lower surfaces of a supporting post 2. Plural pieces of the burning tools are placed around a ceramic green sheet 4 set on a table board 5 and the height of the tools are adjusted so that the space from the ceramic green sheet becomes >=100μm. Then, a pressing board 6 is placed on the burning tools. During calcination, fused material of the supporting post 2 is absorbed by the porous ceramic molded bodies 3. This makes the burning tools 1 to shrink and the pressing board 6 is allowed to contact the ceramic green sheet 4.
