PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute an editing processing in the unit of phrases. SOLUTION: A phrase elimination indication part 9 indicates the elimination processing in the unit of phrases. A character comparison part 11 sets a present cursor position as a reference and obtains the start and the end of original phrases with the blank characters of two continuous characters in the original as an index. An editing part 5 eliminates a character string existing in the range of the original phrase obtained in the character comparison part 11. Then, the character string of a translated sentence phrase corresponding to the original phrase obtained in a phrase selection part 12 is eliminated. Even if the ranges of the phrase of the original and the phrase of the translated sentence, which become the object of the elimination processing, are designated at every time, the original phrase and the phrase of the translated sentence can collectively be eliminated. |
