PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing trouble such as the deterioration of image quality and the splashing of carrier due to the formation of image at a toner-end time. SOLUTION: At the toner-end time of a developing device, the loading of a toner cartridge 211 is detected by a toner cartridge detection mechanism 215 detecting whether the cartridge 211 to be loaded freely attachably and detachably with to/from the main body part of the developing device, is loaded or not. Then, an image forming unfeasible state is maintained until image density detected after toner is supplied becomes an prescribed value or more. |
