摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the tip part of a sharp-pointed electrode from being easily broken and curved at cleaning the electrode when it is in use, by sandwiching the sharp-pointed electrode plate between insulating members from both sides and installing projection parts of the tip part of the sharp pointed electrode projecting so as to be separated from each other. SOLUTION: The corona discharging electrode is formed by sandwiching the sharp-pointed electrode plate 10 equipped with plural sharp pointed electrodes 12 functioning as discharge electrodes at one side end of a belt-like sheet part 11 at a fixed pitch between the insulating members 20 and 21. And, the tip part 13 of the sharp pointed electrode 12 is sandwiched between the insulating members 20 and 21 while leaving the projection part 13a projecting out the end parts of the insulating members 20 and 21. The curvature R of the tip part 13 of the sharp-pointed electrode 12 is <=40μm, the projection amount Ds of the projection part 13a is 0.1 to 2mm. In the case when the projection amount Ds is >=0.1mm, satisfactory corona discharge is not obtained. Meanwhile, in the case when the projection amount Ds is >=2mm, the projection part 13a is curved and broken at cleaning the sharp-pointed electrode 12.
