PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a both-side copying after a binding original which is faithful to the binding original and in which a space is formed on the same end part side of paper. SOLUTION: The reference position for forming an image is switched in terms of the surface and the back surface of a transfer paper in a both-side mode. As to the reference position for image formation, the outside end part of a page to be read is aligned to the end of the transfer paper in terms of the surface and the back surface of the transfer paper. When the reference position for the image formation is specified to be aligned right, a right page to be read is aligned to the right of the transfer paper, and a left page to be read is aligned to the left of the transfer paper. When the reference position for the image formation is specified to be aligned left, the right page to be read is aligned to the left of the transfer paper and the left page to be read is aligned to the right of the transfer paper. Moving amount in the case of the spread right and left pages in a moving mode is made independent. |
