PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the shape of an air bag controllable at the beginning of expansion by overlapping bottom cloth on the lower part of the mouth of the air bag and sewing them. SOLUTION: Margins 5 for sewing of the opposite ends 3a of side cloth 3 are overlapped on the margin 6a for sewing of the lower end of the bottom cloth 4 side to sew up a first sewing part 7 for controlling which is broken by a specified pressure for expanding an air bag. Moreover, the lower part 4b of the bottom cloth 4 is overlapped on the reinforced cloth 12 of the lower part which is overlapped on the mouth part 11 of the air bag to sew up by a second sewing part 8 for controlling which is broken by a specified pressure for expanding the air bag the lower part of the bottom cloth with the reinforced cloth. The margin 5, the lower part 4b of the bottom cloth 4 and the reinforced cloth 12 are overlapped such that a bottom cloth part 2 is folded in the direction of the bottom cloth 4 and the first sewing part 7 for controlling is made at both sides of the part where the bottom cloth part 2 is folded.
